Weekly Recap - 4/21/2025

First, mark your calendars for April 24th, as we will be celebrating Shakespeare’s birthday with a special private party hosted by the Shakespeare Club (invite only event). It should be a great time!

Additionally, we will be having a bake sale this week to support the boys' volleyball team, so come ready to enjoy some delicious treats for a good cause.

On Friday, we will celebrate our Festival of Nations! I am genuinely looking forward to this event, as I know a significant amount of hard work has gone into its planning. I’m confident it will be a fantastic success!

You may have noticed the new lights installed on the first floor. They really brighten up our hallways and create a vibrant atmosphere throughout the school.

I also want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible talent we have here. The World Language Department recently held a poetry contest, and the entries were nothing short of amazing! It’s events like these that remind us of the creativity and passion of our student body.

Over the break, our boys' varsity baseball team participated in the Monroe tournament and faced some tough competition from all over the city. They played their hearts out, and I couldn't be prouder of their efforts.

I would love to share photos and great news from all out clubs and teams. If you are a coach or club leader, please send any information and photos my way. I want to highlight all the amazing things happening here!

For those who have permission slips for the Met game on May 12, please ensure your students return them as soon as possible. Additionally, staff members who will be chaperoning can see Melissa in Room B73 to complete your chaperone sheets.

Lastly, I will be placing the order for the fire department hoodies by the end of the day today. It usually takes about three weeks for them to arrive, so if you are interested in getting one, make sure to submit your order!
