Despite the short week, we had an amazing series of events last week! The Shakespeare Bake Club was a tremendous success, and I’m thrilled to share that they will be using the proceeds from their bake sale to throw a birthday party for William Shakespeare. What a creative and fun way to celebrate!
For those who volunteered to chaperone the Mets game on May 12, please make sure to see me for the chaperone declaration page to sign.
Additionally, Miss Gonzalez and her students, along with staff, represented our school at the Queen North Student Youth Empowerment event held at Queens College. The pictures from the event truly made me wish I could have been there – way to go, everyone! You always make our school shine.
I also want to recognize our incredible students. Last week’s Honor Society assembly was nothing short of spectacular. The stage looked beautiful, the music was fantastic, and it was a joy to celebrate so many deserving students, and lets not forget our Stella Students that were also rewarded last week.
Lastly, a quick heads-up: the PTA will be hosting a bake sale this Thursday. Be sure to stop by!
Thank you all for your hard work and dedication. I can’t wait to see what this week brings!
