SPARK is part of the Office Of the Youth Development NYC Department of Education and OASAS State Substance Abuse Prevention Services. The Youth Development and Intervention Spark Program is design to help students develop their full potential. Through preventive proactive approach, SPARK Counselor empowers students to meet challenges of life events and transitions by creating and reinforcing conditions that promote healthy behavior A powerpoint presentation can be found here.

  • Peer Helper/Leadership

  • Parent Workshops

SPARK Counselor provides Crisis Intervention and assistance to studnets and parents with family problems. Make referrals Community service providers. Federal Confidentiality is assured in all but the life threatening situations.
